Man on trial in exorcism case turns down plea deal

An Orange County, Indiana man charged with injuring a 14-year-old Bloomington boy during an exorcism in 2007 turned down a chance to plead guilty to a less-serious charge and is on trial this week in Monroe Circuit Court.
The boy’s mother reported that during the exorcism, Uyesugi beat and choked her son.
