Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron A daughter of a cult leader who drafted a hit list before his death pleaded guilty Thursday to charges related to the slaying of an 8-year-old girl and three former members of the Lamb of God religious sect 22 years ago in Houston and Irving.

Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron, 46, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Sim Lake to a charge of conspiracy to obstruct religious beliefs.

Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron The FBI has arrested Jacqueline LeBaron, the fugitive daughter of polygamist Ervil LeBaron, bringing what ex-members of the fundamentalist church hope is an end to several decades of bloodshed.

LeBaron is wanted by the FBI for a series of murders in the 1980s, carried out based on the “Book of the New Covenant.” It was scriptures that her father wrote while in the Utah State Prison, where he was serving time for murder.

Fundamentalist LDS Church leader Warren Jeffs isn’t the only fugitive member of a polygamist group to make the FBI’s Most Wanted list. The FBI in Houston has now added Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron to its Most Wanted list — not the agency’s Ten Most Wanted list, of which Jeffs is a member, however — in hopes of finally tracking down the fugitive polygamous sect member. “It’s probably been several years, but we’ve started looking into her again,” FBI Special Agent Todd Burns said Friday.
