ET can’t call ‘prophet’ – judge bans him from Internet use

An Edmonton man facing a hate-crimes charge stemming from postings on his website claims he is linked with extraterrestrials seeking a new world economic order. Reinhard Mueller, 61 – charged with wilfully promoting hatred against Jewish people via the Internet – was in provincial court yesterday for a bail review.

Mueller, who is defending himself in the case, asked Judge David McNab to change a condition of his bail which forbids him from using the Internet.

Mueller argued access to the Internet is a right of all citizens and said he needs it to research his defence, but McNab dismissed his application, saying there were other avenues available for him to do legal research.

Mueller is slated to have a two-day preliminary hearing starting Nov. 8 and court heard he is seeking to call Alberta Justice Minister David Hancock as a witness.

City police spokesman Andy Weiler said earlier that Mueller was charged after officers from the hate and bias crime unit discovered his website during an investigation on an unrelated hate-crime case and came across anti-Jewish essays and some original writings. The officers obtained a warrant to search Mueller’s Edmonton home and seized four computer hard drives.

On the website, Mueller uses the pen-name Reni Sentana-Ries and says he is of ancient Egyptian stature and “has authority recognized by all High Councils of this Galaxy.”

He also assumes the titles: Grand World Councillor, Lion of Judah and guardian of the Arab Prophetess Uthrania Seila, and says he is working for the reclamation of planet Earth for the Federation of Free Planets.

Mueller also documents his case before the courts. Regarding his being charged, Mueller says when he demanded the removal of the monetary system and insisted people comply with the universal order of stellar economics, “that’s when they began turning ugly and decided on arresting their prophet.”

In another excerpt, Mueller warns of what will happen if his new economic world order isn’t implemented. “Neglect to proceed and you will earn judgment from the Starfleet Commanders on your leadership heads!”
