Maharishi University Had Suspended Murder Suspect

We have new information on a murder case we first reported to you Tuesday at 5:00.

Levi Butler, 19, was stabbed to death at the Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield Monday night.

Authorities have charged Shuvender Sem, 24, with first degree murder and also assault on another student.

That attack happened earlier Monday.

University officials now admit they had suspended Sem from the school, and a chaperone was with him at the time of the murder.

Fellow students will hold a memorial service for Levi Butler Wednesday night on the university campus.

It begins at 8 o’clock.
