Maharishi University Plans Iowa City Center

The Maharishi University of Management says it will build a new center in Iowa City for classroom training and meditation.

A spokeswoman says plans are sketchy for the proposed five thousand square foot center, but the group would like to break ground within a year.

The center would give space to those who are interested in pursuing the group’s meditation technique known as Transcendental Meditation.
