ReligionNewsBlog.com — Two of the five suspects in the so-called vampire cult murder in Parker, FL in July last year, may be more competent to stand trial than they want you to believe, WJHG reports.
Last September the New York Daily News reported that Stephanie Pistey, 18, is accused of luring Jacob Hendershot into a trap where he was beaten to death in July by a pack of four men.
While Pistey says she did not drink Hendershot’s blood, she believes she is a vampire and must quench her thirst, the paper said.

She did claim she has drunk the blood of her fiance and co-defendant William Chase, 25.
In December after receiving the results of two psychiatric evaluations, Judge James Fensom ruled 18 year old Stephanie Pistey was mentally incompetent to stand trial.
WJHG says Chase, charged with second degree murder, also appeared before Judge Fensom.
Chase has had two psychiatric evaluations by two different doctors. One found him incompetent while the other found him competent to stand trial. His lawyer Rex Wilson requested Chase receive one more evaluation before standing trial. […]
A competency hearing is scheduled March 16th for Pistey and chase on March 22nd if he’s received his evaluation on time.
