KILGORE, OH — Helicopters were flying as FBI agents swarmed a house on Post Road in the small community of Kilgore, which is in Carroll County near the Jefferson County line.

News 9 has learned the owner of the home searched is that of 50 year old Anthony Fernwalt, who served time in prison for a gun violation.

The FBI will not confirm if they’ve arrested Fernwalt or if he’s part of their investigation.

About 11 years ago, Fernwalt gained attention after he claimed to have received messages from the Virgin Mary and started selling holy water from his home.
