November 1st: On All Saints’ Day (in England also known as All Hallows’ Day or Hallowmas) Anglicans and Roman Catholics honour all saints and martyrs, both known and unknown, of the Christian church.

Orthodox churches celebrate it on the first Sunday after Pentecost.
