Husband sentenced to life in wife’s 2008 ‘exorcism’ death

A 63-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison over the 2008 death of his wife during what he claimed was an exorcism.

Jan David Clark was found guilty Thursday of murdering Susan K. Clark and jurors sentenced him later that day.

Probable cause documents indicate he claimed he was trying to exorcise demons from her body when they entered him and caused her to die.
