Two Women Facing Charges In Connection To Alleged Gang Sex Assaults

More charges have been laid in an increasingly tangled criminal investigation into alleged gang sexual assaults across the GTA.

Two south Korean sisters in their mid-30s were charged over the weekend, joining several male suspects who have also been implicated.

All of the accused are members of a Toronto-based Korean church which can’t be named due to a publication ban.

The Pastor of the church, Jae-Gap Song, has also been charged with sexual assault. His accuser is the wife of one of the six men initially charged.

Defence Lawyer Jacqueline An believes the Pastor is a cult leader, and maintains the accused will be found not guilty.

“There’s compelling evidence coming soon, but he is a leader who is controlling the flock,” she said.
