BBC One My Story picks Norwich woman’s sect account

A Norwich woman has had her book published online after winning the BBC’s My Story competition in the category Overcoming Adversity.

Lindsey Rosa’s true-life account of growing up in a religious sect was crowned the winner on BBC One by host George Alagiah on 28 September 2010.

A 288-page book of her experiences titled Not My Idea Of Heaven can now be downloaded from the My Story website.

It explains how her isolation as a child led to her becoming anorexic.
