Vimto fruit drink enjoys boost from Ramadan

          

Vimto, the British-made purple fruit drink, has enjoyed a 39pc rise in profits after an earlier Ramadan increased shipments to the Middle East.

The drink is used as a tonic by Muslims fasting during Ramadan, to give them an energy boost.
