Fatwa against dogs



A senior Iranian cleric has decreed dogs are “unclean” and should not be kept as pets — a move aimed at discouraging Western-style dog ownership in the Islamic state.

With dogs out the way, perhaps the cleric can now turn his attention to a possible fatwa against more important issues, such as terrorist crimes and other acts of hatred committed by Muslim extremist.
