Jehovah’s Witnesses will be holding 63 district conventions in 52 cities in the Philippines on the theme “Zealous Kingdom Proclaimers” which underscores how people can cope with the times they live in and remain zealous proclaimers of God’s Kingdom.

Total expected attendance is 300,000. In Metro Manila, the venue is the Metro Manila Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kaligayahan, Novaliches, Quezon City. There are more than six million Witnesses worldwide preaching and teaching about Jehovah God and his purposes for humankind.

The convention is not for Jehovah’s Witnesses only. The public is invited to join them. People will always benefit from Bible-based discussions and practical advice, and learn what moves the Witnesses to come to their doors. Across the country, the program will be held in Cebuano, Iloko, and Tagalog as well as in Bicol, English, Hiligaynon, Pangasinan, Philippine sign language, and Samar Leyte.

The program will demonstrate how to apply the principles of God’s Word in one’s family and personal life in everyday situations. There will be discourses, lively discussions, true-to-life skits, reenactments, personal experiences and a Bible drama. The focus will be on living one’s life in harmony with God’s way for mankind so that a person will not only find happiness today but also enjoy everlasting life under God’s Kingdom.

“Kingdom Proclaimers Fired With Zeal” is the keynote address on Friday. On Saturday, hundreds of newly dedicated ones will be baptized and ordained as ministers. The symposium “The Quality of Our Faith Tested by Various Trials” will show how important it is to pay attention to God’s Word and practice the things learned.

Youths are especially invited to attend the Sunday session featuring a lecture on the subject “Youths — Build for the Future With Jehovah’s Organization.” The Bible drama is entitled “Stand Firm in Troublesome Times.” It will portray a Bible story to demonstrate that the Bible is not just a book of ancient history but that its counsel is truly beneficial today both to young ones and adults. The convention’s main talk is “The Scene of This World Is Changing.” (VBF)
