Tom Cruise South Park Episode Axed

As Cruise threatens to sue over gay story-line…

TV bosses have fearfully cut an episode of South Park which ‘outs’ a fictional Tom Cruise character as homosexual. It was called ‘Trapped in the Closet.’

The cartoon shows ‘Cruise’ refusing to come out of the closet, with Nicole Kidman and John Travolta trying to coax him out.

Kidman cajoles him, saying: “Don’t you think this has gone on long enough? It’s time for you to come out of the closet. You’re not fooling anyone.”

The piss-take also features Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard criticising Cruise’s acting skills.

The show was aired last year, but according to the Sun, TV bosses are too scared to run it again because the petit Top Gun star is believed to have threatened legal action.

An insider confided: “Tom was said not to like the episode and Paramount just didn’t dare risk showing it again. It’s a shame that UK audiences will never see it because it’s very funny.”
