Methodist Wary of Hinn

The Methodist church of Fiji has given its members the freedom to attend evangelist Benny Hinn‘s miracle crusade that will be held on 20th of this month.

However Church General Secretary Reverend Ame Tugawe said they have warned church members to be careful about his teachings and questioned what new concept will Hinn come and teach.

Questions have been raised about the credibility of evangelist Benny Hinn after the Victory Baptist Church of Fiji, an independent church claimed that it has evidence that Hinn’s teachings are not true to Christian beliefs.

Church leader, Pastor Ryan Gray earlier told Village News that people who will be attending the crusade should not take Hinn’s word as the Bible truth and question everything he said or does.

He also revealed that the church will be conducting a meeting for members of the public, to reveal footage of Hinn’s sermons which go against Christian teachings.

The Assembly of Christian Churches is expected to comment later.
