Scientology: 0 – XS4ALL: 4

The Dutch High Court has once again decided in favor of XS4ALL and Karin Spaink – and against the Church of Scientology.

This T-shirt says it all:

Scientology cult is taught a lesson about free speech

Final Victory:
Scientology 0: – XS4ALL: 4

This is a victory for freedom of speech – something Scientologists pay lipservice to, but which they hate because it allows good people to expose Scientology’s actions and beliefs to daylight.

You may recall that earlier this year Scientology suddenly attempted to withdraw from this case:

Here is the earlier verdict that Scientology appealed.

At the time, the Dutch court stated:

‘The (…) texts show that, in their doctrine and their organization, Scientology et al. do not hesitate to reject democratic values. From the texts it also follows that one of the objects of the non-disclosure of the contents of OT II and OT III … is to thwart discussion of the doctrine and practices of the Scientology organization’

And here is what the Church of Scientology hoped you would not see.
