Jeffs is reportedly spotted in Lehi

LEHI, Utah – The FBI and police are investigating reports of a sighting of fugitive polygamous leader Warren Jeffs, KSL Radio reported on its Web site Friday night.

Police received a tip that the leader of The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was seen at a Cabella’s store in Lehi.

FBI agents confirmed an employee at Cabella’s said he saw Jeffs.

Speaking on ”Utah’s Afternoon News,” FBI Special Agent Brent Robbins told KSL that FBI officials don’t know if the sighting is legitimate but are looking at store surveillance.

Lehi police have put out an attempt-to-locate bulletin in response to the reported sighting of the fugitive.
