Organisers of a sell-out concert by an American evangelist have warned people to stay away unless they have tickets after several people were injured at an earlier show.

About 2,000 people were refused entry to a show by Benny Hinn at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester last night (Saturday).

Many of those locked out had invitations to the event which they wrongly thought would ensure entry.

In a crush at one entrance to the stadium seven people needed treatment by ambulance crews.

For tonight’s (Sunday) second show by Hinn, only those with blue Arena tickets will be allowed in.

It is believed that some people with genuine tickets could not get in last night after people with invitations were wrongly allowed in.
