Paganism:
Paganism is on the rise in jails in England and Wales with the number of practising prisoners more than doubling in the past four years. Paganism was recognised by the Prison Service as a religion more than eight years ago but since 2003 the numbers have risen steadily from 133 to 328 in 2007, according to figures published yesterday.

Paganism: People from all walks of life joined in the fun Saturday at the 7th Annual Pagan Festival and Parade. It was a showing of acceptance and celebration across all ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations and faith traditions. Organizers said they also wanted to dispel common misconceptions that paganism is about devil worship.

Paganism: The ruling has been announced as part of a prisons policy that requires Pagan prisoners to have the same rights as prisoners of other religions. The new rules were drawn up with the help of the Pagan Federation, which advised the prison service on what equipment its members needed.
