A cult guru who raped a pretty recruit and sexually assaulted another may have attacked hundreds of women, it has been claimed after he was found guilty of rape. Jet-setting Michael Lyons was convicted on Friday of raping one woman at Wood Green Crown Court and of sexually assaulting a second.

Michael Lyons / Mohan Singh: A self-styled guru accused of being a serial rapist sexually assaulted a woman who had come to him for help, a court heard today. His friend Sophie Reddyhoff said she introduced the woman to Lyons because she wanted him to “help her”.
Ms Reddyhoff said her friend did not tell her about any untoward incident which may have happened during her meeting with Michael Lyons.

Michael Lyons / Mohan Singh: A bogus guru raped and sexually assaulted attractive women lured to his cult in a ten-year spree, a court heard.Michael Lyons, 51, styled himself as spiritualist Mohan Singh and victims were convinced he was linked to the Dalai Lama, it is alleged.
Lyons is said to have attacked seven women from 1998 to 2008.
