Cult member gets 30 years in murder of son, woman

Vania Sisk Vania Rae Sisk, from Durham, N.C., was sentenced today to at least 30 years in prison for helping conceal her 4-year-old son’s murder, and for killing another woman of the religious cult to which she belonged.

Charges dropped against suspected cult members

Alleged cult leader pleads guilty to killing boy, woman

Peter Moses The alleged cult leader of the Black Hebrews, who police say killed a woman and a 4-year-old boy in 2011, pleaded guilty Monday morning to two counts of first-degree murder in Durham County Criminal Superior Court.

Second fingerprint found in cult killing of 4-year old boy

Peter Moses New search warrants released Tuesday show a second fingerprint belonging to cult leader Peter Moses Jr. was found on clear tape used to wrap plastic around the remains of a 4-year-old boy.
