Leader Efraim Society arrested

Dordrecht - Heinrich van Geene, spiritual leader of the controversial Efraim Society, was arrested by police yesterday say two ex-members. Last year, they filed a complaint against Van Geene for fraud and abuse.

According to Dutch-language newspaper, Trouw, Heinrich J.A. van Geene, who claims to be the biblical prophet Elijah, believes that he is slowly being poisoned with arsenicum.
