Christian Praying Asssembly:
Controversial founder of Lagos-based church - Christian Praying Assembly - Mr. Emeka Ezeuko, alias Rev. King was yesterday arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and murder, at a Magistrate Court in Ebute Metta, Lagos. But the court will on Monday, August 14, rule on whether it has jurisdiction to hear the case.

In year 2001, Emeka Ezeugo, alias Pastor or Rev. Dr. King started his church at the back of Caprisonne, in Ajao Estate in Lagos, Nigeria, few yards to the canal that took the lives of thousands of Lagosians some years back. His church was directly around Inno Nwosu street where I was resident.

Grief-stricken father of Ann Uzoh, the girl who died from burns allegedly inflicted by Rev Kingsley Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, the embattled leader of the Christian Praying Assembly (CPA) in Lagos, Pa Raphael Uzoh, has recounted how his daughter was brainwashed and made to disown the family through her liaison with the self-styled ‘Jesus of our time,’ with whom she was alleged to be in a rollicking love affair.
