The prosecution yesterday closed its case in the ongoing murder and attempted murder charge preferred against the founder and General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Mr. Emeka Ezeugo, known by his adherents as Rev. King and informed the court that it has proved its case beyond reasonable doubt to convict the accused person on charges against him.

A pathologist from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Dr Sunday Sokunle Soyemi yesterday told an Ikeja High Court that late Miss Ann Uzor a member of Christian Praying Assembly (CPA) who was allegedly set ablaze resulting into her death by the founder of the church, Mr Emeka Ezeugo (Dr Rev. King) died from severe loss of body fluid following the third degree burns she had.

Two medical doctors and brother of a member of Christian Praying Assembly (CPA) Lagos, late Miss Ann Uzoh yesterday said that the young lady died of severe burns. Pastor of CPA, Emeka Ezeugo alias Rev. King is currently under trial for murder of late Miss Uzoh last July.

Two medical practitioners, including a certified pathologist, testified yesterday in an on-going attempted murder and murder trial involving Lagos Clergyman, Mr Emeka Ezeugo, alias Dr Reverend King, asserting that late Miss Ann Uzoh King, one of King's victims, died from severe loss of body fluid caused by second and third degree burns, with 75 per cent of her surface skin roasted to the muscle level by petrol fire. Hearing continues today.
