On Friday, the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Queens will open the doors of its mosque in Holliswood to the public for a celebration.

The protesters had gathered to hear their neighbours denounced as heretics and infidels.

Dhaka, Apr.17 (ANI): Unruly Islamist zealots attacked an Ahmadiyya mosque and the homes of a number of leaders of the minority Muslim sect in south-western Satkhira district of Bangladesh on Sunday.

Dhaka, March 11 : To hold back protestors from besieging the Ahmadiya Muslim Jamaat Complex in Bogra on Friday, Bangladeshi police replaced the signboard of the complex with a banner which read "Place of Worship of Ahmadiyas - not to be mistaken for a Mosque" .

LAHORE, 2 December (IRIN) - A court in Pakistan on Tuesday handed down a life sentence and a fine of 10,000 rupees (US $167 dollars) to a man from the minority Ahmediya community for remarks deemed blasphemous to Islam. The man, Iqbal Ahmad, can appeal against the sentence to the high court within 30 days.

At least 15 people were injured when a mosque of a minority Muslim sect was attacked in Bangladesh Friday.
