Health inspector to check if Meintjies is a health risk
The health inspector at Boshoff, in the Free State is to visit the nearby town of Hertzogville tomorrow to determine if the corpse of the late Paul Meintjies holds a health risk.
Tefo Kamolana says he will speak to the town manager today to arrange a visit to the house of the late Meintjies, who has now been dead for 50 days.
Nico Foulds, the undertaker in Hertzogville, yesterday took the corpse from the mortuary and delivered it to Meintjies’ widow.
Foulds says he supplied hand gloves to the family should they want to handle the corpse. The corpse is lying in a coffin next to the widow’s bed.
