Ritchie furious with guru
More articles on this topic: KabbalahFilm director Guy Ritchie has threatened to beat up wife Madonna’s religious guru, according to reports.
The threat to “break the face” of the singer’s Kabbalah adviser sparked a furious row, reports The Sun.
The paper says the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director grabbed the cleric by the throat backstage at a Miami concert hall.
The guru reportedly interrupted Madge and Guy once too often while they were trying to have a conversation.
Describing British-born Guy’s reaction, a source said: “He reared up and the veins were sticking out of his forehead.
“He just snarled ‘If you don’t back off I’m going to break your face’. It was very scary. He wasn’t kidding.”
Both Madonna and Guy are adherents to Kabbalah, the latest Hollywood fad whose other followers include Britney Spears.
Madonna reputedly wears an earpiece during rehearsals so she can receive instructions from her Kabbalah rabbi.
