Armenian Children Implicated in Religious Sects

The presidential Human Rights Commission is concerned about the implication
of Armenian children in religious sects.

At a meeting today the commission decided to draw the Armenian president’s
attention to the facts of gross violation of human and children’s freedom of
conscience and religion.

The commission proposes the adoption of a respective law and the amendment of
the Criminal Code and the law on administrative offenses to protect people
from “soul-hunters.”
