Satya Sai Baba has never voted!

God-man Satya Sai Baba, whose ashram at Puttaparthy in Anantapur district has been the destination of the high and mighty of Indian politics for the last many decades, has never voted in his life.

Sai Baba, from whom Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, Chief Ministers of several states and top leaders of different political parties seek blessings, is listed as a voter at polling station number 8 in Puttaparthy town under the Dharmavaram Assembly constituency of Anantapur.

Sai Baba’s real name – Satyanarayana – appears on the top of the list as voter number one but he has never voted in his life.

Seventy five-year-old Sai Baba has millions of devotees all over the world including several former Presidents, Prime Ministers, judges and military officials.
