Amsterdam mosque under investigation

The Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating whether the Amsterdam mosque El Tawheed has committed punishable offences.

Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk says if this is the case, the mosque will be prosecuted. Reading material at the mosque has caused concern because it encourages the suppression of women and female genital mutilation.
