Two teenage sisters are divorcing their mother because they claim her lesbian affairs clash with their devout Christian beliefs.

La Kenna and Shanicola Green, of Missouri City, Texas, allege their mother, Kimla, brought her lovers home and had sex while they were in the house.

David Sloan, the girls’ lawyer, said the case was about an irresponsible mother and her behaviour.

“She would hold birthday parties for the girls and invite her lovers over – that’s the kind of bizarre behaviour I’m talking about,” he told the New York Post.

“This is the girls’ mother, and they still love her, but they just want her to change their lifestyle.”

La Kenna, 17, and Shanicola, 16, have lodged a suit alleging their mother “had restricted their religious schooling whenever their religion had questioned their mother’s loose sexual lifestyle”.

The sisters are now living with their aunt and uncle.
