An in-house news item: if you are a regular user of Religion News Blog (RNB), you may have noticed our slightly different design.

Behind the scenes, there has been a big change, courtesy of the web programming skills of my brother, Ruud Hein. RNB now runs on a PHP/MySQL-based content management system. Advantages for us include ease of use, reduced bandwidth, and more customization options, while our guests benefit as well. For example:

• Pages are now served faster
• The search function has been greatly improved
• Related articles and research resources are easier to find.

In addition, we now offer the following, free syndication options:
