Members of Strict 35 sect charged in case of 14-Year-old runaway
Police: Women, Man Hide Girl From Troopers, Parents
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Two Lancaster County women and a man have been charged in connection with the case of a 14-year-old runaway.
On Dec. 10, state police investigated a report of a missing girl in the 100 block of West Maple Grove Road in Brecknock Township.
Troopers determined that the girl had run away and that people were concealing her whereabouts.

The group referred to is known as the Daniel Hoover group, actually a sect of the so-called ‘Thirty-fivers’ or Reidenback Mennonites; itself a sect of the Old Order Groffdale Conference — and so on…
The sect members charged were Rachel Zimmerman Starr, Aaron Zimmerman Hoover and Alda Hoover Martin.
