Police: Women, Man Hide Girl From Troopers, Parents

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Two Lancaster County women and a man have been charged in connection with the case of a 14-year-old runaway.

On Dec. 10, state police investigated a report of a missing girl in the 100 block of West Maple Grove Road in Brecknock Township.

Troopers determined that the girl had run away and that people were concealing her whereabouts.

Investigators say some members of the conservative religious group known as Strict 35 planned to take the girl to Kentucky.
