Sex cult leader is sane: Police
Agus Imam Solichin, the leader of a sect who instructed his followers to perform orgies, has been declared mentally stable by a psychiatrist, the Jakarta Police announced on Tuesday.
“Psychiatric observations have shown he is not insane,” Jakarta Police spokesman Zulkarnain Adinegara said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Zulkarnain said the result helps the police make a stronger case against Agus.
Agus is detained under charges of indecency for allegedly having sex with his disciples and instructing them to have group sex while he watched.
[...]Zulkarnain said Agus has admitted to instructing members to have group sex. “It was done to test loyalty. It was done under no threat,” Zulkaranin said quoting Agus.
[...]The sect leader surrendered to the police last Thursday after three days in hiding. The police had looked for him following a member’s report that Agus of prevented another member from seeking medical help, which may have contributed to her death. (dre)
