Local Church sues Christians
The Apologetics Index entry on the so-called ‘Local Church’ has been updated with information about that movement’s latest lawsuit.
This time the group, which has a lengthy record of legal moves against its critics, is suing Harvest House, the publisher of the Encyclopedia of Cults and New Religions, along with authors John Ankerberg and John Weldon, for libel over their 1½ page entry (along with brief comments in the 731-page book’s “Doctrinal Appendix”) on the Local Church.
