Nigeria: Police Rescue 13 From Child Trafficker
Delta State police command yesterday arrested a 36- year-old human trafficker who allegedly abducted 13 under-aged kids.
The suspect who identified himself as Pastor Moses Enebeli was picked-up by the police following a tip-off from members of the public in Ndokwa West council of the state.
The children whose ages range from 10 to 15 years were according to the police, meant to be taken to another agent in Kwale for onward movement to Lagos on a special arrangement to board a private commercial bus, (names withheld) before the cat was let out of the bag.
Pastor Enebeli who claims to be the shephered of God’s people at a church known as Horeb the Mountain of God Church, with headquarters at 39 Akala street, Kwale, in an interview said he was taking the children to Lagos to train them as a way of helping the less-privileged in the society .
Pastor Enebeli, an indigene of Eziuno community in Ukwuani council area of the state said that most of the children with him do not have parents. He said that he started the business of helping the less-privileged in the year 2005 and has since then helped a lot of families.
