Televangelist Bill Keller Urges Osama bin Laden To Become a Christian

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (AP) — Osama bin Laden’s video urging Americans to convert to Islam has been answered by a Florida televangelist who invites bin Laden to become a Christian.

In a video message to the al-Qaida leader, Bill Keller says, “By accepting Christ as your savior, you can not only save your own soul, but God will use you to save many others.”

The video appeal is posted on Keller’s Web site. It also repeats the condemnations of Islam that prompted a Tampa TV station to cancel his “Live Prayer with Bill Keller” broadcast.

The TV show is now broadcast by another Tampa station.
