Los Angeles, CA – Evangelist Oral Roberts has suffered a heart attack and is in a California hospital.

Family members tell us it is not considered life threatening.

This is not Reverend Roberts’ first heart attack. He had one in October 1992. Doctors performed an angioplasty to clear his blocked arteries and put in an emergency pacemaker.

Roberts retired from Oral Roberts University in 1993. He will be 85 on January 24th.

The evangelist and faith healer was born in Ada in 1918. He founded ORU in 1967. He also authored the book “Don’t Give Up” in 1980.
