Delaware – — Evangelist faced a series of legal problems, most recently when he married Eloise Thomas, a 76-year-old widow and longtime member of his church.

The marriage was annulled in August 2001 after Thomas, who with her late husband had won six-point-nine (m) million dollars in the Ohio Lottery, was declared incompetent.
