Did Chinese State Security Agents Assassinate Zhang Hongbao?
Zhang Hongbao, the exiled leader of a Chinese Qigong “Zhong Gong” movement, was killed in a traffic accident on July 31 in Arizona’s number 106 highway very close to the Grand Canyon.
According to a report on the Chinese-language Epoch Times, the Chinese State Security held a secret celebration after Zhang’s death.
The report citing an anonymous source stated that the Chinese State Security sent out two assassin groups in early July to U.S. to target Zhang Hongbao.
On the secret celebration held in Jinan, Shangdong Province, oral praising was given to those who contributed to the successful assassination.
Zhang Hongbao was once a senior advisor for the PLA. After fled to U.S., Zhang wrote articles in 2005 to reveal some PLA’s secret non-conventional weapon plans.
