It’s that time again… Religion News Blog is in the process of upgrading to a bigger and better server – one which can handle more simultaneous connections.

We’ll spare you the technical details, but if all goes as planned the new machine will result in fewer time-outs and somewhat faster page displays.

Our other web sites, including our main site – Apologetics Index – benefit from this upgrade as well.

Mind you, we’re thinking ahead and are already planning a further upgrade toward the end of the year.

Along with the server upgrade our web host is also applying several software updates and patches. Some of these updates require some reprogramming on our part. For instance, while the search function is available and working, at present it can not display a list of stories on a particular topic. We’re working on it.

Meanwhile, we thank you for making Religion News Blog the foremost news service dedicated to research on cults, religious sects, world religions and related issues.
