Two plead guilty in subway attack

TOKYO — Two senior members of the Aum Shinri Kyo cult pleaded guilty yesterday to murder charges in the nerve gas subway attacks in March that killed 12 people.
Toru Toyoda, 27, and Kenichi Hirose, 31, admitted they spread the sarin nerve gas in the subway, according to news reports. Getaway car driver Shigeo Sugimoto, also charged with murder and attempted murder, pleaded innocent.
